CONGRESSMAN BRIAN HIGGINS ANNOUNCES SUPPORT OF MAYOR BROWN FOR RE-ELECTION

Highlights Mayor’s Commitment to City’s Revitalization

BUFFALO – Congressman Brian Higgins today announced his support of Mayor Byron W. Brown for re-election as Mayor of the City of Buffalo.

“Mayor Brown’s dedication and clear vision for Buffalo has produced safer streets, safer neighborhoods, lower taxes and a revitalized city waterfront,” said Congressman Higgins. “I have known Mayor Brown for many years and have seen firsthand the outcome of his well-crafted strategy to lower crime, strengthen the city’s finances and improve our quality of life.”
“Having the support of Congressman Higgins is a great honor and I thank him for his confidence in my ability to lead the City of Buffalo,” said Mayor Brown. “Congressman Higgins is a public official who has excelled at all levels of government, demonstrating a keen understanding of issues that affect the daily lives of our residents and developing public policy that benefits the entire community. His record of accomplishment is well known and he is understandably praised for his success in stimulating the rebirth of our city’s waterfront.”
“Mayor Brown has demonstrated great leadership and I know he will continue the progress that has made Buffalo stronger,” said Congressman Higgins.
